Hostal Silvia VEDADO : located in one of the most emblematic residential neighborhoods of Havana, Vedado, which is characterized by its abundant vegetation, wide streets and a group of beautiful houses from the beginning of the 20th century. It is located on one of the main roads (c. Paseo), which -with its wooded parks along its entire length- allows a pleasant 1.5 km walk to the boardwalk. On this journey, you will be able to appreciate the large classicist-style mansions, along with modern multi-family buildings and hotels from the 50s, which transformed the elitist character of the neighborhood into a more popular one.

It is not only the lovely Silvia and her family, it is the situation, the magnificent place and that incredible tangible energy that make Hostal Silvia last in your memory. My three friends and I spent four exceptional days in this house. Silvia and her family are exceptional people, they helped us at all times, answered our questions, even personal ones (such as choosing which guayabera we should wear to a Cuban wedding). It was like being at home (and what a home!). An eclectic classicist architecture, from the 20s, that catches you as soon as you pass the entrance gate. The rooms are clean, spacious and have air conditioning. The breakfasts… great!
